We always enjoy taking the family to Mystic Seaport in Connecticut. The day we went this summer was cool and cloudy but the seaport was still very enjoyable.

We enjoyed going on the ships and listening to the talks that were given telling us about whaling and ship life.

I love flowers so I enjoyed the many flower gardens.

There are so many interesting buildings to go into where you can watch the men working.

This man was an interesting blacksmith who showed you how it was done.

Make sure you have at least half a day to walk around and enjoy the scenes.

So if you are traveling to Connecticut make sure that you stop and visit Mystic Seaport!
